Pam Oliver

The First thing I can say about her is that she is my all time favorite. She represents Title IX to the fullest.(Just learned about this in my sports management class thank you Dr. Bernstein) Not only is she a woman, but she is an African American female making her way in a competitive job. From what i know she was born Pamela Donielle Oliver, being that her father was a soldier in the U.S. Army, Oliver and her family moved several times during her childhood, living in Texas, Michigan, Washington, California and Florida. Instead of watching children's shows, Oliver preferred watching sports. Unlike myself Pam excelled in various sports which gave her a wider knowledge for the job that she would soon become apart of. Starting out she worked at various news stations before coming to ESPN sports in 1995. I just want to give a big kudos to her and i hope to one day meet her in the near future.
