I am new to blogging...but so I far I like it. Sports have always been intriguing to me even though I never really participated in any growing up. I liked the competitive aspect and just from watching sports I have developed a strong drive to achieve most anything in life. As of right now I am a student at Old Dominion University majoring in mass communications with a minor in public education with a concentration of sports management. That was just the long way of saying I am putting in work to become a future sports broadcaster. To get through college I am currently serving in the Virginia National Guard, and all i can say about that is that it has not been as easy task for me...but i am going to finish what I have started. I have a slight idea of how i am going to achieve my goals of becoming a sports broadcaster, but I love help and advice. I would like to thank my friend Malik Smith of Hampton University for telling me to start this blog. He too is also an aspiring sports broadcaster and I would like to wish him the best of luck towards his goals. To put an end to my first blog i once read that "dreams are like rainbows. Only idiots chase them." Well I'm one of the biggest idiots there is.
I honestly love the fact that you want to be a sportscaster! For me it was between an agent & working in the fashion industry..
